Product Overview: Engineered for continuous, high-deposition welding of H-beams and T-beams. This gantry-type Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) system utilizes automated boat-position welding (45-degree angle) to ensure deep root penetration, precise fillet profiles, and zero-defect weld seams. Essential for heavy steel structure manufacturing, bridge girders, and pre-engineered building (PEB) fabrication.
Core Engineering Advantages
- Simultaneous Dual-Arc Welding: Equipped with two independent SAW heads, allowing simultaneous welding of both sides of the H-beam web. This cuts welding time in half and minimizes thermal distortion by ensuring uniform heat input.
- Optimal Boat-Position Welding: The system supports 45-degree workpiece positioning. Gravity assists the molten weld pool, naturally forming a flat, structurally sound, and aesthetically perfect fillet weld with deep penetration.
- Automated Flux Recovery System: Integrated with upper gravity-fed flux hoppers (capacity designed for long-running shifts) and a vacuum flux recovery unit. Automatically recycles unfused flux, significantly reducing consumable waste and manual cleanup.
- Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Gantry: The entire gantry travels on precise V-groove rails driven by heavy-duty AC motors with VFD. Ensures extremely stable travel speeds (crucial for consistent weld beads) even under maximum load.

Product Features
The frame structure of gantry consists of walking beam, column and upper platform. Gantry adopts square pine and channel steel structure, process stress relieving, with strong and stable structure.
Customizable Gantry Type Submerged Arc Welder
Each of walking beams is driven by a motor reducer, forming a double-drive system, which makes the operation smooth and reliable.
The moving of gantry is frequency speed adjust controlled, the welding speed can be adjusted according to welding technology requirement.
The electric control system consists of one electric control box and two operation panels. The electric control box is equipped on a walking beam, while the 2 operation panels are fixed on the front of upper platform. They are placed separately, which is convenient for operation.
Cantilever type automatic welding machine. The gantry welding machine can weld back and forth to improve the work efficiency. According to the user needs to increase the height of the web.
