Product Description
Recyclable Prefab Steel Structure Warehouse for Export Processing

A warehouse that can be taken down and put up again somewhere else — which is what export processing zones tend to ask for. These buildings are framed in Q355B or Q235B steel with bolted or welded connections, span the full width without internal columns, and are packed and shipped as labelled components ready for erection.

Built for Export Processing

An export processing plant usually has a lease, a policy window and a product mix that can all change. So the building is designed to change with them — sections can be added, the layout modified, or the whole structure dismantled and relocated.

The building supplies secure, enclosed storage for raw materials and finished goods, protects them from rain, sun and snow, and carries overhead loads such as a crane where the process needs one. Material handling flows through the free floor.

Recyclable by Design

The frame is 100% recyclable and steel does not lose quality when it is recycled. At the end of the building's life the structure has scrap value rather than disposal cost, and it counts as recovered material rather than waste.

Skylights can be worked into the roof for natural light, which cuts daytime lighting load in a large storage floor.

The Frame
  • Material: Q355B or Q235B structural steel.
  • Connections: Bolted or welded, as the design calls for. Bolted frames are trial-assembled in the factory, which is what makes later dismantling and relocation practical.
  • Components are pre-engineered and prefabricated, so site work is assembly rather than fitting.
  • Dimensions — length, width and eave height — are all set to the project.
Steel Sections to the Standard Your Market Uses

Export projects often name a standard rather than a grade, and the section has to match it. We supply hollow sections and structural steel to several:

  • European: EN 10210, grades S235 / S275 / S355 (JR / J0 / J2).
  • American: ASTM, grades A36 / A572 Gr.50 / A992, and A500 / A588 for hollow and weathering sections.
  • Australian: AS 4100.
  • Japanese: JIS, grade SS400.

Square and rectangular hollow sections run from 50×50×3 mm up to 400×400×16 mm, in stock lengths of 6–12 m. Tolerances to EN 10034, ASTM A6/A6M or EN 10210, depending on the standard specified. Sizes outside the list are made to order.

Clear Span and the Mezzanine

Columns are kept out of the interior, so the full floor is usable for storage or the process line. Where office or extra storage space is needed, a mezzanine can be added in part of the building or across the second level.

Weather, Fire and Pests

The frame is protected against corrosion by galvanizing, and steel does not rot, burn the way timber does, or provide anything for pests to eat. The building is designed for the wind, snow and seismic load at your site, not a default.

Packing: Steel Pallet Packing

Components are packed so they arrive ready to lift rather than sorted on site:

  • The base is a bracket welded from channel and angle steel.
  • Beams and columns are stacked on the bracket in order — long, load-bearing components at the bottom, shorter and lighter ones on top.
  • Rubber pads or timber blocks go between components so they do not rub through the paint in transit.
  • Steel bands or wire rope fix the whole bundle to the bracket.
  • The result is a rectangular block, which is what makes hoisting and container loading quick.
  • Small parts go in cardboard boxes or wooden crates.
Erection and Overseas Support

Detailed installation drawings are supplied with every building. Where a project needs it we send an engineer to supervise erection on site, or use our overseas installation team. Site supervision is quoted separately — the buyer covers visas, air tickets, accommodation and wages.

What We Need to Quote
  1. Use — storage, logistics, manufacturing, agricultural, or cold storage
  2. Building size — length × width × eave height
  3. Steel standard — EN 10210, ASTM, AS 4100 or JIS, and the grade
  4. Loads — snow, wind, seismic, and any crane load
  5. Roof and wall build-up — panel type and thickness; insulation if cold storage
  6. Skylights, mezzanine or crane, if any
  7. Site — coastal or inland, for the coating

Send these and we return a layout drawing, the section sizes and a price.

Delivery

Production runs about 20–30 days depending on building size and complexity. Monthly capacity is 3,000 tonnes. Sea, air or land transport as the goods and the site require.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the building really relocatable?

Yes. The frame is bolted and factory trial-assembled, so it can be dismantled, shipped and re-erected. Welded frames are also possible where relocation is not a concern.

Can you supply to a specific standard?

Yes. EN 10210, ASTM (A36 / A572 Gr.50 / A992 / A500 / A588), AS 4100 and JIS SS400 are all available, with tolerances to the matching standard.

Can you supply hollow sections?

Yes — square and rectangular hollow sections from 50×50×3 mm to 400×400×16 mm, in 6–12 m lengths. Other sizes are made to order.

Can the warehouse carry a crane?

Yes, where the process needs overhead lifting, but the crane load must be designed into the frame from the start.

Can I have a mezzanine office?

Yes, in part of the building or across the second level.

How is the building packed?

Steel pallet packing — components bundled onto welded channel/angle brackets with rubber or timber separators, banded with steel wire, into a rectangular block for hoisting and container loading. Small parts in cartons or crates.

How is quality controlled?

Products are checked at each stage — raw material, work in progress, tested materials and finished goods.

What is the delivery time?

About 20–30 days, depending on building size and complexity.
