Our Drop Forged Right Angle Coupler (also known as a Double Coupler) is the critical load-bearing component for "Tube and Fitting" scaffolding systems. Designed to connect two 48.3mm scaffold tubes at a 90-degree angle, this coupler ensures maximum structural stability and safety for high-altitude construction projects.
Engineered to meet and exceed BS1139 and EN74 standards, our couplers feature superior slip resistance and deformation resistance, making them the preferred choice for heavy-duty industrial, oil & gas, and infrastructure projects.
- Superior Safety & Load Capacity Engineered with a high slip resistance of ≥12.0kN (exceeding standard requirements). The drop-forged construction eliminates porosity and defects found in cast iron, ensuring the clamp will not fracture under heavy loads or high torque.
- Precision Fit Designed with a precise 48.3mm radius to ensure 100% contact area with the steel tube. This maximizes friction grip while protecting the tube surface from deformation.
- Ultimate Durability (Anti-Corrosion) Available in Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) finish with a zinc coating thickness of >60μm. Provides long-term protection against rust and corrosion, even in harsh marine or offshore environments. Service life can exceed 10 years.
